Sunday we spent about four hours working on the firewall. The piece is now ready for the engine mount and for the front nose gear.

It turns out that to work on the front half of the fuselage you need the landing gear kit. Until more parts arrive, the front gear bushings and few remaining pieces for the firewall can not be drilled into place with out the landing gear fork acting essentially as a jig.

The plan is to skip ahead where able, but progress may soon become halted without those pieces.
